Bridge the gap. Mind the budget. Don't drop the bus.
SPAN is a physics bridge-construction puzzle. You build a bridge across a gap, stay under budget, then send cars, buses and 60-tonne haulers across it. Every member carries tension, compression and bending. If the bridge is too weak it sags, beams snap, and the bus ends up in the river.
On the Iron Road you build railway viaducts instead, and a badly laid track derails the train. Famous Bridges asks you to rebuild the Golden Gate, Tower Bridge and ten others within their real constraints.
Built by agents, from spec to release
SPAN was designed and built by AI agents directed by umage.ai: a written spec, an agent team, tested releases. It is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no build step and no runtime dependencies, and it is open source.
